This is my brothers cat Snowy. When this cat was born he was pure white.. hence the name. Now, however, he is greyish and not through old age.
Taken with Hipstamatic – Bettie XL Lens, Ina’s 1935 Film
It’s been rather Autumnal this Winter. Yeah.. it doesn’t make much sense to me either. It’s been pretty cold for short periods. But it’s been windy and rainy just like it would be in October.
Anyway, I was up before the alarm this morning and took this image and had a little fiddle in Snapseed and Mill Colour.
This was the first image I took when the Dali Pak came out from Hipstamatic. I have used it several times for other stuff (avatars on forums and profile pics.)
I have mentioned before that Dali is one of my favourite artists, so this pak gets used a fair bit when I get my weird head on.

Please read this blog post from a strong young lady and if you can relate or would like to offer your support.. well the blog post explains it all.
For someone who very rarely has to be anywhere at any particular time, I do seem to have a fascination with time.
Today’s image is taken with Camera+ and them manipulated with an app called Ripped From Reality
I was going through my iPhone apps today and found a function that lets you see what apps you have bought but are not installed on the phone. I found a couple of photography apps that I had forgotten about.
This image was taken with one that hasn’t been updated since late 2010, so not a top of the range effort but it gave out a pretty cool picture. No doubt I could achieve better results using more modern apps but Format126 was one of the first photo apps I downloaded and it’s pretty cool, in it’s own way.
This is an image I took a week or so ago and it’s been sat doing very little. So I butchered it. I messed it up and in the interest of fairness and full disclosure, I post it here.
I think it was taken with Camera+ and I know I massacred it in Snapseed.
OK, so it may be a little late in the day and it’s not much.
But just imagine for a second that I had the scoop of the century. I don’t know.. maybe the latest poster for the new Avengers Movie.. or A set picture of the new Doctor Who 50th Anniversary special (you know the one.. where they do a million pounds worth of CGI and have all 11 doctors together again)
Well.. if your imagination is good enough you could also imagine what would happen if the studios or production companies behind those two events would want to protect their property. (Just as an FYI, if I did have those things all it would take would be a quick email to say look not fair please take it down.. and it would be down within minutes.. same goes for anything *within reason* on any of my blogs) This is what could possibly happen. They would block me as soon as look twice.
Say no to SOPA and PIPA. It’s really the only way the free exchange of Information will survive. Don’t let some Fat Cat in Washington DC take away your right to express yourself and say what is needed to be said.
