This image was taken this evening in my back garden. The sky has been very changeable most of the day, One period it could be grey and overcast and half an hour later it would be Blue skies all round. As you can see I managed to catch a somewhat billowy period.
I could almost go fly a kite.
On my trip to Canterbury last week we took a short cut through a park. I saw this interesting slab. I took a few pictures and promptly forgot about them. As I was going through the images I had taken to find today’s image this popped up and I started to play with the ColorSplash. I have had ColorSplash for quite some time but haven’t really played with it, it is very easy to use and is quite basic but powerful at the same time.

The original image was taken with ProCamera and I used a boarder from Pixlr-o-matic.
Around 11pm last night, I was sat outside having a cigarette and I looked over to the wall by the door and came face to face with this:
I mean.. in February.. Honestly I ask you.
There are no effects on this image. It’s not a particularly impressive shot.
As I was sat here this afternoon my whole room turned a dusky Pink. It was quite bizarre at the time. I grabbed my phone and headed outside to see if anything was causing it. I couldn’t determine what the cause was, just a pinkish sky. I snapped a couple of shot in the hope it would make a cool image. What I found was.. a Pink Blob in the middle of the image and a “normality” halo around it.
The only thing that has been done to this is that I resized it in Photoshop and added a border using Pixlr-O-Matic.
I haven’t slept and for some unknown reason I decide to start taking photo’s at some point around 6am.
There will be more picture of the sky over the next couple of days (hopefully interspersed with other stuff.)

The blue green tones really do highlight how cold it is out there at this time of the morning
I needed a treat yesterday afternoon. The best treat I know is a good cup of coffee and a slice of Chocolate cake. Well the cake was nice.. the coffee not so much.. I guess you can’t have it all.

It’s been rather Autumnal this Winter. Yeah.. it doesn’t make much sense to me either. It’s been pretty cold for short periods. But it’s been windy and rainy just like it would be in October.
Anyway, I was up before the alarm this morning and took this image and had a little fiddle in Snapseed and Mill Colour.
